As part of Martini Williams Racing’s presence at the upcoming Autosport Show in January, fans will be able to see one of the team’s most famous Formula One cars – the FW08C.
Driven by Keke Rosberg and Jacques Laffite, the FW08C was the winner of the 1983 Monaco Grand Prix, and took the team to 4th in the constructor’s championship that year. It was also the first Formula One car driven by Ayrton Senna, done so at a test at Donington in July 1983 where he famously set faster lap times than Rosberg and Laffite.
“We are really excited to be able to bring so many important cars from Williams’ Formula One history to share them with motor racing fans,” said Williams Martini Racing Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams, “The show will be a great opportunity for people to see the cars up close, and on the move when the FW08C takes to the Live Action Arena.”
