William Dunlop Secures ZX-10R For Superstock Races

William Dunlop will pilot a specially prepared Kawasaki ZX-10R in the Superstock class in next year's international road racing season. The Northern Irishman will line up in MSS Performance colours in the class at the TT, North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix.

He will also participate in several rounds of the national 1000cc Superstock championship with the bike, as well as some Irish road races. Dunlop will also line up with CD Racing in the Supersport and Superbike classes on a Yamaha.

“If I'm really honest I wasn't too sure about the Superstock class but when I heard we had the option of running with Nick (Morgan, MSS) and understood the whole package I became really positive,” Dunlop stated.

“I'm excited to be doing it properly with testing and some BSB rounds, which mean I'll be sharp for the TT. Chris Dowd (CD Racing) sorted the deal and Nick and his guys have fantastic knowledge and data on the ZX-10R in this spec.

“The team seem a really relaxed group to deal with and that's just how I like to go racing.”

Dunlop has good reason to be pragmatic about his chances with the ZX-10R, as this was the bike Ian Hutchinson took to Superstock success at the TT this year.
