Rosberg unhappy with "aggressive" Hamilton move

Nico Rosberg has expressed his thoughts regarding Lewis Hamilton’s move on him at the start of the US Grand Prix. Rosberg was on pole but Hamilton got the better start, and came up the inside into turn 1. The two made slight contact and Rosberg was forced off the road, which cost him positions to the Red Bulls on the exit of the corner.
Initially it looked as though Hamilton had simply understeered into him, but the onboard footage showed that Hamilton did not have much lock on the steering wheel, suggesting he wanted to push his team mate wide to ensure he didn’t fight back through turn 2.
“Turn 1, for sure, was very aggressive,” Rosberg said in the press conference, “It was extremely aggressive. We hit each other, or I would say Lewis came into me. Obviously that’s not good, but I can’t say more than that.”
After reviewing the footage, he said to Sky Sports F1: “It didn’t have such a big impact on the race, what happened there, because I fought through well and I was quick and came back and took the lead.
“I was ahead in that corner. I just looked at it, and when I’m ahead then I have a right to the track there and Lewis was just too aggressive today. One step too far. That’s not ok.”
Rosberg was also very confused about the oversteer moment he had on the exit of turn 16, which saw him run off the circuit and relinquish the lead to Hamilton.
“I just got wheelspin. It’s never happened to me, ever. Not in testing, racing, never anything like that. I can’t explain it, it’s unbelievable. We just need to look into afterwards. Obviously that was really tough at the time to lose the lead like that, to lose the win, because I was feeling really good at that point.”
