German media: Hulkenberg staying at Force India

Nico Hulkenberg is set to stay at Force India for 2016, that’s according to German newspaper Bild.

The German has been linked to several other drives including Kimi Raikkonen’s seat at Ferrari, the new American Haas team, and with Renault if they take over the current Lotus team.

Staying at Force India also opens the door for a return to Le Mans with Porsche, where he won on his debut last year. Although it was not in the sphere of Force India it was good publicity for the team, an attraction when courting new sponsors.

Sergio Perez has been widely tipped to stay at the Silverstone based team, which could mean that Mercedes backed Pascal Wehrlein could miss out on a drive.
