Redding To Pramac For 2016

After weeks of speculation, today it was announced that Scott Redding will ride for the Octo Pramac Racing squad for 2016.

Redding, currently with Marc VDS Racing Team, was linked with the seat after Danny Kent turned down the offer of a three-year contract with the Italian team. Redding switched to the Marc VDS team this year and onto a factory RC213V upon which he was expected to challenge for the podium.

But the Honda has proved a difficult beast, so much so that factory rider Marc Marquez had to revert back to the 2014 chassis on his bike just so he could ride it. Redding will take the place of Yonny Hernandez, with the Colombian expected to move back to the Avintia squad next year.
