Amlin, the former title sponsor of the Aguri team has swapped allegiance and moved to Andretti as part of a multi year deal.
The Amlin Aguri team split at the end of the first season of Formula E, with the former team now just named Team Aguri. End of season sponsor TE Connectivity also remains, who brought a bright orange scheme to the car at the London race in Battersea Park.
“I couldn’t be more excited about Andretti Formula E’s season two plans,” said team owner Michael Andretti. “Amlin has done a great job building their brand across various platforms, and has shown a passion for motorsport; we look forward to what the new relationship can bring.”
Simona de Silvestro has also been confirmed as an Andretti driver for the second second of Formula E after her first race in Britain. There is no word though on Jean-Eric Vergne, who impressed in his first season, with him recently linked to the Haas drive in Formula One.
