Sauber - Going about their business

After a pointless 2014 season, Sauber’s main goal of this year is simply to survive and score points. They showed flashes of speed in testing, with some saying they would be the dark horses of the field. Indeed, when we reached Australia they got both cars in the points with Felipe Nasr scoring an incredible top 5 finish.

However, since then Sauber have gone unnoticed. They have been quietly going about their business but have seen little success from it, with only one points finish since the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Both Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson are proving themselves to be competent drivers and wheel to wheel racers, as neither driver has retired due to a collision so far this season. With better machinery, they have the capability of throwing a surprise or two into the paddock.

And some better machinery is one its way, as Sauber are to receive the updated Ferrari engine at the next race in Spa. With two of the most power-dependent tracks on the calendar coming up, Sauber should be ones to watch.
