Verstappen to take driving test

Most F1 drivers will spend the summer break on a hot beach somewhere, or spending some quality time at home with their families.

But Max Verstappen, who finished fourth in the Hungarian Grand Prix, plans on learning how to drive. The 17-year-old will use the 4 week break to take driving lessons and hopefully pass his test.

“With the F1 schedule it has been difficult to fit everything in so I’ve had to wait for the break. You need a minimum six or seven hours driving under the laws in Belgium, where I live – and I hope that’s all I need. We’ll see.”

“I’m doing my lessons in the summer break and then will take my test around my birthday in September,” he added.

Judging by the youngsters performances so far this season, we think he'll pass with flying colours!
