Potential Formula E Season 2 Calendar Leaked

The potential calendar for the second season of Formula E has been revealed by motorsport.com and sees two new venues in Paris and Mexico City. The leak also reveals the loss of two previous venues, Monaco and Miami.

The 11 race season will start in Beijing and conclude at London some time after mid-June. In the middle of the season, an unknown race has been added which will take place in March. Previous rumours have pointed potential venues to be Brussels, Montreal, or Rome.

The official calendar is yet to be confirmed by the World Motorsport Council who were anticipated to approve the 2015 – 2016 season in the coming weeks.

The season will start in Beijing in October and will boast at least one race per season with a slight break in January.

Putrajaya, Malaysia – November 21

Punta Del Este, Uruguay – December 12

Buenos Aires, Argentina – February

Mexico City, Mexico – February

TBA, – March

Long Beach, USA – April

Paris, France – April 24

Berlin, Germany – May 21

Moscow, Russia – June 11

Battersea Park, London – TBA

Season testing is due to take place at Donington Park in August 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25.
