Fans voice discontent at Battersea Park organisation

Several fans at today's London ePrix in Battersea Park have voiced their discontent and the organisation and set up of the circuit 'planted' (I'll see myself out*) in the middle of London. Many fans tweeted us complaining of long queues at stalls, incorrect information regarding crossing the track, unhelpful staff and no ticket-checking anywhere in the circuit - meaning those who payed for 'premium' seats missed out on their improved view.
Although these issues could be seen as teething problems - I mean it is in the middle of a park slap bang in the middle of the biggest cities in the world - but in a series trying to draw in and attract the casual viewer/fan, they haven't exactly impressed possible new followers of the series. Some people might not even return to see the last race of the season, which will see the first Formula E champion crowned.
Formula E has a lot of improving to do to be seen as a 'credible' series in many peoples eye, and although it is only the first season, issues such as these in Battersea Park are unlikely to see people returning when (or if) the series returns to Battersea next year.
Were you at the London ePrix today? Let us know what you thought of the organisation and the facilities in the comments below, or on Twitter @TheBeckettsBlog. The season finale of the inaugural Formula E season is tomorrow, with the race starting at 4pm BST. Build-up and coverage will be on ITV for viewers in the UK.
* Planted. Because it's in a park? Like trees and flowers and stuff? Ah it was funny to me.
