Yamamoto Drives For Amlin Aguri in London

Ex-F1 racer Sakon Yamamoto will race for the Amlin Aguri team at the Formula E season finale in London on June 27-28th. The Japanese driver replaces Amlin Aguri stalwart Antonio Felix da Costa who will be racing in the DTM event at Norising.

Yamamoto previously tested a Formula E car back in Miami to assist Japanese television for which he was a pundit.

Yamamoto has raced in 21 Formula 1 Grands Prix over two seasons competing for Super Aguri, Spyker, HRT, and Virgin Racing as a test driver. He has also raced in GP2 and GP2 Asia.

Yamamoto is the second confirmed driver change for the London ePrix. It is anticipated that a third will be required for Trulli as Vitantonio Liuzzi has other engagements.
