Ben Birchall and brother Tom took their second victory of the week in the second Sidecar TT of the 2015 event. The duo guided their Manx Gas Racing LCR Honda to a seven-second lead over the three-lap contest after nailing it from the start. Birchall took the lead on lap one by 3.8-seconds and never relinquished.
Dave Molyneux and Ben Binns pushed their Suzuki to the absolute limits, breaking Nick Crow's lap record that has stood for seven years with a 116.785mph lap. 17-time TT winner Molyneux staged a small fight-back on the final lap, taking a second out of the Birchall's lead through Ballaugh. But the brothers responded in kind over the mountain.
John Holden and Dan Sayle completed the rostrum.
Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott were 4th and Ian Bell and Carl Bell 5th.
Gary Bryan and Jamie Winn dropped out of the race at the end of the opening lap whilst Tim Reeves and Patrick Farrance retired with mechanical issues on the first lap.
