Birchall's Blast Sidecar TT 1

Ben Birchall and brother Tom dominated the opening Sidecar race of the 2015 Isle of Man TT. The LCR Manx Gas Honda pairing roared to a twenty-five second advantage by the end of the three-lap contest in record time – 58:36.776 at an average speed of 115.770mph. This is the duo's second TT success and it came in emotional fashion as just twelve months ago they suffered a near career threatening crash.

John Holden and his partner Dan Sayle came home 2nd after a brief stint leading the race. Their rostrum was cemented when pre-race favourites Dave Molyneux and Ben Binns encountered mechanical troubles on the first lap, pulling over at Brandish.

Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott completed the rostrum.
