Championship leader Danny Kent struggled at Mugello on Friday coming home seventh in the practice sessions.

The Leopard Racing rider will be hoping he will be back to his usual self as he aims to qualify on the pole for the all-important race on Sunday in Italy.

“Honestly speaking it was a difficult start to weekend, or I would even say it was the toughest opening day of the year so far. Basically, the feeling with the bike isn’t so good because I struggle all lap long to hold the line. So that means we definitely have a lot of work ahead of us but we already looking at the data in order to see where we can improve." "

Fortunately it was just Friday and we also look forward to one further free practice session tomorrow morning in which we’ll do our best to find a good setting for the race on Sunday. As already mentioned there is some important work do to but I’m pretty sure we’ll switch on the right path in time.”
