The organisers of the 2015 British Grand Prix have announced that 95% of ticket for this years race have been sold.

The British GP will take place on the 5th July, and a recent increase in demand, possibly down to the success of current World Champion Lewis Hamilton, has seen an increase in the number of ticket sales for the event.

In a statement released by the organisers at Silverstone, they said "a combination of factors including recent ticket promotions and a revised child pricing policy have resulted in record sales for this years event and only 5 per cent of total capacity remains available"

The Managing Director of the Silverstone circuit Patrick Allen said "Demand has been tremendous and we are 95% sold and (we are) predicting that 2015 will be a record breaking crowd."

Tickets can be bought online and over telephone at the official Silverstone website.
