The FIM and Dorna Sports are to begin talks with manufacturers to replace Honda as the supplier of engines to the Moto2 World Championship. Honda have supplied 4-stroke 600cc units for the class since its inception in 2010, and will continue to do so through to the end of 2018. Discussions will be held for the rest of the year, then the FIM and Dorna will open up the tender process.
